Player Highlights

Congratulations to center back Hannah Kroupa (@hannahkroupa ) for signing a one-year contract with @cacerenofem in Spain’s Primera Federación. Hannah joins a team that narrowly missed out on promotion to Spain’s top flight, Liga F, last year. She will look to help the team finish in the top five spots again this year, hopefully contributing to getting the team over the line! Hannah is originally from New Berlin, Wisconsin. She attended Northern Illinois University for two years before deciding to focus on her soccer career, finishing her degree online while playing professionally in Portugal. She is a center-back that is excellent building out of the back, has a wide passing range with both feet and can carry the ball forward, as well. Defensively, she is very good in 1v1 situations. Hannah played this summer for a USL W League team in Milwaukee. Developed and trained by Ricardo Vidal-Chavez and Polonia SC. 2021 Keeper Wars

Bella Merkel, Maddie Awe & Elise Turtenwald

Bella (2003), Maddie (2011) & Elise (2010) all competed in the April 2021 Keeper Wars

Bella finished 3rd, Maddie 2nd, and Elise 1st in their age groups!

Really cool event and a Big Thanks to Coach Jose and Coach Ricardo for their specialized goalie training that they all went through. All players worked super hard at this event, and put in many hours to achieve these results! Nice work ladies!

2021 ODP State Team – Announced!

Congratulations Polonia Players!

Nine (9) Polonia players have been selected as members of the Wisconsin 2021 ODP State Team. They will have the privilege of representing Wisconsin at the ODP Sub Regional Event held at Westfield, Indiana at Grand Park, June 18 – 20, 2021. The Sub Regional Event will include 8 other States from the Midwest Region, and will be attended by regional and college coaches. The event offers athletes the opportunity to showcase themselves to be selected for the Midwest ID Camp (Girls: July, 9-11). Congratulations Polonia Players! #PoloniaProud

2021 – 2006 Polonia Player make Midwest Conference Premier I Best XI

Please help us congratulate our 2006 player Tia Mullens for making Midwest Conference Premier I Best XI!

Tia’s solid play, versatility and calm, cool and collected demeanor frustrated our opponents regardless if she played in the back or up top.

Tia performed at such a high level and were voted to this honor by opposing Midwest Conference Premier I coaches.

2020 ODP STATE REGIONAL EVENT

Two Polonia players have been selected as members of the Wisconsin 2019 ODP Regional Team. They had the privilege of representing our Midwest Regional in Costa Rica and Boca Raton, FL.

Congratulations to Ella Kratochvil and Maggie Mattek !!

Ella was awarded MVP for both of the games she played as Goal Keeper!! This was a US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Inter-Regional event held in February 2020.

Ella plays on our 2004 Girls US Youth Midwest Conference team. Nice job Ella!!

They will have the privilege of representing Wisconsin at the ODP Regional Event held at Voice of America Soccer Complex in West Chester, Ohio. The Regional Event scheduled for June 27-30 will include other States from the Midwest Region (Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio South) and will be attended by regional and college coaches.
